I can really appreciate this young man's attitude and love for the good ole U.S.A. While I realize we have more than our share of problems, it's truly a shame that so many in this country honestly don't seem to appreciate the incredible blessings we have. For instance, my wife and I were recently on a tour to the Russian Federation. Met some of the nicest people in the world. Eye opening the attitude that so many of the folks we ran across had toward the United States. And while they've grown up in a totally different (opposite) political and social system don't think the desire to get the heck out of there and get to the States doesn't exist. It does in spades!

Not trying to make this a political or social discussion, however, it goes back to the humble and appreciative approach this young man has about what he's been given by moving here. We can learn a lot from what he says and feels. I just hope he joins our band of #Uncommon recruits in the future.

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.
