On the Finebaum show calling all Razorback fans to stop going to games. We all know the current situation but why on earth get on national television and start ranting and raving?

He should have just said stop going to the games in Fayetteville.  They've already stopped going to the games in LR.
Sometimes wrong, but never in doubt

I agree with you. There is no logic in doing such a thing unless you are a fan of a different team.

Guys like Lance are an embarrassment to this state and to the human race as a whole. Stupid mouth breathing idiot.

I do not agree with it. However, if you want a coach gone. The best way to affect things is to stop supporting it with your money. Just like anything else. Although getting on national television and saying this is not going to produce the desired result. Eventually people will stop going to games and stop watching the games on tv on their own if the source of entertainment becomes more of a source of frustration. Everything will work itself out with time. If however people stop going to games it will most likely happen sooner than later. I do not see that happening this year. If we have a losing season this year though things could change.

I do believe this will have a negative impact on recruiting if CBB doesn't figure it out and start winning. Not because of the losses themselves but because of the impression that the coach may not be here much longer. The answer to all these problems is winning games.

Can't watch Finebaum because of these type calls, regardless of what school they support.

He wasn't too well informed regardless of what team he follows.  He thought Jeff Long was still chair of the selection committee, although that's not quite how he said it.  I believe his comment was Long needed to quit running the playoffs and worry about his school.

I watch daily.  I do however use my mute button quite often.  It's there for a reason.  Learn when to use it.  As for Lance he just heard all the Florida and UT folks and wanted his 15 seconds of fame I guess.  He's probably sitting at home watching it over and over.

Especially when we can get this kind, for free.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Not true.  There's about 20-30 people that matter on this front.  When enough of them are fed up, change will occur.  Not enough people will band together to bring change but if 6-7 of the right folks say no more money until we move on, watch how quick Bret is sent packing.  $1000 here or there matters, but it takes a lot of those folks to make up for a guy who drops $10 mil like Jerry Jones.  Let him get fed up and see what happens.  Losing 6 straight and 4 in a row in Jerry's World vs TAMU would not sit well.

Thats why the team is wearing cowboy unies today IMO. Preemptive sucking up to one of the donors that certainly would move the needle if they decided it was time for a change.... what poor performers always overlook is that no amount of sucking up will hold off the mob with pitchforks when the time comes for you to go. No one influential person will be able to save a poor performers job in the end

Or...maybe it's related to the fact that Jerry Jones was just inducted to the NFL HOF. Plus, it's not like they just drew this up on the back of a napkin. It's been in the works for a few months.

As an aside, it always astounds me that rank-and-file fans believe they have some huge influence. "Why, why...I'll just stop buying tickets!! I'll go on Hogville and rant!!" Yeah, sure. Knock yourself out. The world is about power, and power is about money...those who have it, and those who don't.

This no matter how much you dislike the coach/ad don't turn your back on the players. How would a mass boycott look to future recruits? I would look elsewhere if that happened as a recruit. The way to force the hand needs to be behind the scenes donations needs to stop flowing in privately.

On a side note anyone have strange issues sometimes posting? In this post I cant use my mouse to make changes the cursor simply wont move. I have to backspace to make changes, also the text is lagging behind like I am on a Tandy. I get this same problem from time to time just curious if someone else does and know whats causing it?

Kinda wish I had caught this call. I've really become a connoisseur of the "radio call in" segment of the Hog fan base. Finebaum especially purveys some of the finest and stunningly incompetent folk in the land.

Jerry Jones is owner of an NFL team that has not played in a Super Bowl or even an NFC championship in the past 21 seasons. That same team has only made the playoffs 9 times in those 21 seasons and has a 3-9 playoff record during that time. Meanwhile 19 other different NFL teams have played in the Super Bowl during those 21 seasons. At this point Jerry Jones still has plenty of money to invest, but he has not done very well in putting a quality team of his own on the field during that time period. He should be really upset about the team he owns.

That steaming pile (your description not mine) is owned by one of the most loyal Razorbacks ever. We wouldn't have what we have perhaps without him and his generosity. I think you should cut him some slack.
If I'm going to cheer players and coaches in victory, I damn sure ought to be man enough to stand with them in defeat.
