The problem vs CC was lack of preparation and motivation

I'm seeing a lot of posts citing the CC debacle as proof our talent is similar to that of CC (some suggest CC's talent is better than ours). I think that's wrong. The game plan stunk and the level of engagement of the players was very low. The players were going through the motions for the first three quarters; they seemed entirely uninspired.

Obviously, we have a talent problem vis-a-vis the top tier of the SEC. But to suggest our players are on par with CC's players is baseless.
