special teams does make a difference............when you've got the top ranked offenses and defenses.

Yep Coach George Allen who preached that Special Teams was the forgotten 1/3 of the game that cost folks games.  Under this current staff we lost games due to Special Teams breakdowns.

We did not dominant on ST.  Next year we should be more dominate at them.

Johnson while at Dallas had some starters playing special teams...That made them that much better..

The ''U'' was dominanted a lot of schools they played back in the day.  They were dominate.

Get your head out of the sand. You don't need a group of 5 stars to field serviceable ST's units, you need to dedicate ample time to fundamentals in those areas.

I agree.  I also think its easier to block kicks that are only 7 feet off the ground when the ball crosses the line of scrimmage.  Not that this in any way diminishes your point since that should have also been easy to correct.
