Former Arkansas quarterback Brandon Allen was added to the Senior Bowl roster last week joining former teammates Jonathan Williams and Sebastian Tretola in the trip to Mobile, Alabama later this month.

Allen is currently in Boca Raton, Florida working out in preparation for the upcoming week in front of NFL scouts and coaches and is excited he got the invite.  Allen also was invited to the NFL Combine in Indianapolis later this spring.

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

Very happy about that. BA was arguably the best quarterback in the SEC in the last 6 or 7 games. He deserves the recognition.

Are seniors or juniors that have declared for the draft allowed to work out with the rest of their former team?   Example, can Brandon work on passing with underclassmen to get ready for the draft or do they have to do this stuff separate from the rest of their former team?

I think they can, as long as coaches aren't involved..
