Better hurry up and enjoy it.  From what I've heard and read online, the local authorities are contemplating closing down the red light district.

Went there is 2003.  Great town.  The shows, while lacking in acting ability, are very entertaining.

It's already started. They've bought out several dozen "windows" and moved artists and boutiques in their place. I believe these are rent-free for a year or so.

haha, i wonder what the crime rate is in amsterdam.  i bet it is pretty low cause everyone just "chills"
