I'm glad the Vandy game is out of the way!

N.Boarn

Another possible huge upset for us.

Hella_Hog

So did Indiana over #15 Iowa.  I'm a big Hoosier fan today!  Need some higher ranked teams to lose.

RazrHog4Life

Go Vandy!

Georgia is 16 and we are 17, so if they lose we should move up at least one spot.

Head Dahn Hog

The Bulldogs are really struggling again today.  This just goes to show how important the quarterback is to the success of the offense.  Something us Hog fans should be familiar with!
No excuses!  Play like a champion today!

No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Is it WRONG to root for vanderbilt whenever they play anyone??? :)

(well, anyone other than us)

There's just something about perennial doormats rising up that I root for (last year ALMOST against Florida - 2OT, last year against Tennessee - IN knoxville kept vols out of a bowl, this year - maybe - at georgia)

CiriusPorker

Vanderbilt is MUCH better than anyone thinks - I've said that all along.

I'll add that I personally think that Georgia is not quite as good as most think either

I don't knowif you guys caught it, but on ESPN they were pumping up vandy a bit ago:

"they should have won at bama"
"they lost close to ole miss"
"THE REFS MISSED A HORRIBLE, I MEAN HORRIBLE CALL AGAINST ARKANSAS THAT ERASED A DORE TOUCHDOWN... THAT CALL COST THEM THE GAME"

i certainly agree that vandy is 'close', and the best 2-4 in the country (other than a whered'they-come-from illinois) but espn didnt even MENTION the missed fg.... just mentioned the 'lateral / pass' penalty.

I was in nashville and remember it... it should have been a vandy td, and i'm glad it wasn't, but it's nice to have someone give credit for the REAL reason vandy lost, and not some ridiculous "Nutt as the divine timeouter" calling up a gust of paul eels wind or whatever trash is spewed on this board!

What happened?

VANDY 21
GEORGIA 16

4th Q  10  min left

georgia had 4th and goal at the 2 and kicked it instead of going for the td  -  vandy's d look stout

Zen_Hog

Georgia has all the confidence in the world. Vandy QB isn't doign a good job at the SEC level...

TD Bulldogs

allyoucaneatbuffet

interception by bulldogs! PICKED OFF!

Georgia 22
Vandy 21

4th Q, 9 min left...  going for 2..   FAILED

but still, 22-21 georgia

arkjay19

They just find a way to lose don't they.  The quarterbacks makes a HORRIBLE decision and throws a pick and then Georgia returns and INT for a TD.  It has to suck to be a Commodore.

ryan_hog

Damn Georia is going to pull it off!  Maybe they wont go up in rank though, we could still jump them, you never know.

bosshawg38

Vandy has to be Lincoln Financial's dream team. I mean, with other, bigger SEC schools getting games on ESPN/CBS on a weekly basis, it seems that Vandy is getting a lot of LF coverage in the past couple of years. They've actually had a few good showings in those games. That's gotta make LF happy!

Indiana with a 3 point lead and the ball, 3:30 and counting.

Dammit.   Iowa driving, 3 minutes, on the Indiana 30

PICK!!  Indiana Ball!!!!

Looks like Johnson is trying to run the clock down as much as possible and take the FG.

Georgia has no timeouts.
