Damn Randy.  My old teammates and I have had to dig through boxes of old photos in the SID storage areas.   Lol.  #werentnodigitalbackthen

Oh, so now Jonesboro is in the Delta, I wish y'all would make up your minds. We aren't farmers when we retire, we're landlords.......
I believe Jonesboro is considered in the Delta. It just happens to sit on a "ridge" that is considered in the Delta and thus that makes Jonesboro in the Delta to most people. For that matter so is Forrest City, Harrisburg, etc.
If I'm going to cheer players and coaches in victory, I damn sure ought to be man enough to stand with them in defeat.

I've always considered part of the Delta, but certain posters made it seem those "Delta" athletes were only south of PB, so I wanted to be certain. It seems someone cares about my location.

Thanks for the clarification. Jonesboro has a reputation of having good athletes. Not all of the Delta's good athletes are in the southern Delta. I would even say that as many if not more are now coming from the northern Delta region.

I care about your location less than you care about the tweets of two teenagers in Fayetteville.

The question I have is why did Ramsey not have any contacts? Morris wasn't available to help him sort this out?

Seems just another casualty of the early signing period IMO. What are incoming coaches to do? You come in behind the 8 ball recruiting wise, all your attention must first be channeled to try and save the recruiting class the best you can, in between that there's the trying to assemble a staff. I would suspect that graduating players access to  training and highlight videos being assembled easily got lost in the shuffle. Still seems the players could have reached out to people in the athletic department and brought their issues to light, rather than heading to twitter to voice your concerns to everyone and make it seem nobody is caring about them.

Good Lord, did he have a DUI that was swept under the rug?

Yeah, he has been driving impaired the last five years.

I heard a long time ago he had one while at KSU but not sure anything was ever confirmed.

To me, this attitude stems from not having much on team competition between players for positions.  Coach Morris said we played a lot of freshmen on both sides of the ball.  When you have to work and earn your playing position because the guy behind you wants your job and is every bit as good as you are, and it's not "handed" to you because you are our only option, then the since of entitlement seems to go away a bit.  The old "tail wags the dog" mindset.  And you are talking about 18 - 22 year old guys who has probably been given so much favoritism and head noise through high school that they develop this type of mindset.  Instead of running into competition at the college level, they are placed right in the same role they come out of and thus the "humbling" affect never sets in. My opinion of course.

The players ever going to twitter to complain about something related to the athletic department is a result of them wanting the public to hear them and/or being impatient.  They are able to text athletic department support staff (most of which are still employed...) whenever they want and someone will respond.  Just like the athletic department is able to group text the entire team information that needs to be disseminated.  This reminds me of Cobi Hamilton complaining a few years ago that he didn't get his off campus housing check when the U of A was closed for the 4th of July holiday.

But did Kniles Davis, Ryan Mallet, Jayrus Right, and Greg Childsplay get their housing checks?

My bad Cobi.  I'm sure autocorrect didn't mean to insult your momma regarding how she spelled your name.

It's a crazy thing. Never know. For the hell of it, I just typed in "Cobi" on my phone and it autocorrected to "coin" and then "combo."

Now I won't get any work done the rest of the day because I'm gonna start typing players' names in and see what comes up.
