Memphis trailed by five points at halftime in its home opener but turned things around in the second half, particularly in the final seven minutes, when the Tigers outscored the Trojans 17-9. Little Rock fell to 0-2 to start the season after beginning last year 2-0.

Memphis guard Jeremiah Martin scored a game- and career-high 24 points on 7-of-12 shooting, including 4 of 5 from 3-point range. He added six rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Little Rock freshman guard Jaizec Lottie led the Trojans with 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting after scoring just three points in his first college game Saturday.
