Arkansas State stunned Florida on the road despite shooting just 38.4 percent from the field. The Red Wolves were carried by a tenacious defense and a nose for the ball on the offensive glass. The Gators had an opportunity for the win at the buzzer but missed their final shot.

Player of the game
Akasha Westbrook paced the Red Wolves with 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting. She also tied for the team lead with three assists and grabbed two rebounds.

Key stats
This was Arkansas State's first ever win over Florida after losing its previous four games in the series.
Funda Nakkasoglu led the Gators with 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including 4 of 5 from 3-point range.
Arkansas State forced 23 Florida turnovers and had nine steals as a team.
Florida shot 51 percent from the field.
Arkansas State grabbed 20 offensive rebounds, compared to just 13 for Florida.
Florida snapped a 10-game home winning streak against nonconference opponents with the loss.

Key play
After an Arkansas State turnover with six seconds left, Florida got one last chance to win the game. However, guard Dyandria Anderson missed on a 3-pointer and Westbrook secured the rebound for Arkansas State to seal the victory.
