Given the devastating flooding in Houston this weekend, it is looking very unlikely that BYU and LSU will meet at NRG Stadium on Saturday.

QuoteEarlier on Sunday, there was a report that LSU's Tiger Stadium and the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans had been discussed as possible relocation detestation for the game.

LSU athletic director Joe Alleva said Sunday night that he's "almost certain" the Tigers' scheduled season opener versus BYU will not be played in Houston next Saturday

QuoteAlleva wants fans to know that LSU is not in control of this game. It is not an LSU home game. The game is organized by NRG in Houston and by ESPN. Ultimately it's up to NRG and ESPN, the organizers of the game to decide where the game will be played if the game is moved.

Alleva went on to say that he is 'almost certain' the game will not be played in Houston. He has not been told that officially, but he is almost certain the game will not be able to be played in Houston on Saturday. It is most certain that it will be moved to another venue. What that venue will be, he hasn't been able to say yet.

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.
