This guy doesn't seem too scared of Bielema.

Why the five year break?  We'll probably never get that return game, ha.

My very first thought was "they will let us come up there and then cancel the return trip".

If I'm still here in South Bend in 2020, this should be a fun time. Love or hate Notre Dame, their home game day atmosphere is pretty awesome

I immediately thought of you when I read this :P

I think those are different crowds.  Personally, I'd rather start a 10 year series with Kansas.  :)

As long as we're in the SEC West, I'm 100 percent for this

Yep. In today's CFB it doesn't matter who you play.  All that matters is how many W's you have by your name.

Nope, we need Clemson, USCw, OSU, and FSU as our OOC games, all on the road.

Awesome but 5 years is too many years for the return game

It is if it's your only option. We'll find some good ones for 2021-2024.

rzrbk4life

Sweet! Guess i'll have to schedule a road trip to South Bend
Let's call those hogs!!!!

redleg

I am very excited for these games.
But, Arkansas' luck, by the time the Hogs play them they will be a Top 10 program again, just like Texas in 2021 probably. Hope we can win one of the two games versus the Irish.
WPS!
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is.

DoubleReedHawgCaller

They'll have a Heisman candidate after that game for sure.  ;D
A couple female midgets, a few bottles of Wild Irish Rose, and a room at the Trout Inn...... who knows what may happen.....

WilsonHog

I went to South Bend two years ago to watch the Irish play UMass. Best time I have ever had at a college football game.

Wow

Awesome

We'll not get the return game.  They'll find some way to weasel out of it.

What's the over/under on ABC's 20/20 having a nauseating year of hype over the year and their name match? Anyone else remember "77 the year of the 7.!!" back in 1977? Over and over and over they repeated that crap.

Michigan cancels on us, therefore every big OOC school we schedule is gonna cancel on us.

How do some of you guys make it through the day?

Little known fact, but prior to settling on Guantanamo, the Pentagon wanted to house terror suspects at War Memorial Stadium.  It was deemed to be cruel and unusual punishment and in violation of the Geneva Convention.

This is good.  If we are going to schedule a "name" program, scheduling the most consistently overrated team in college football is a good thing.

twistitup

We will go to South Bend w our new Kiffin led offense and easily put up 40
How you gonna win when you ain't right within?

Hopefully we find some LB's by then so they don't put up 50

As a lifelong ND fan and a die hard Hog fan and Arkansas alum this is awesome.  Borderline erotic as Bielema would say.  Tickets will be at a premium I'm sure but sign me up.  I have a couple buddies I graduated with over 30 years ago and we go to a game every year in Fayetteville, that we are going to South Bend in 3 years.

I have no interest in going to see us play Kansas either home or away.  I want to see good teams and exciting games.  I love the fact we are trying to find some teams out of our area.  Maybe the Pac 12 or ACC are next. Bring it on!

Sivad

Home and away vs. the most storied team in college football - kudos to whomever got it done.

You miss the boat.  A four team playoff is a championship.  A championship produces... a champion. You seem to be looking for the "best" team.  The "best" doesn't exist. Best does not equal champion.  Best is a myth.

Well, we're guilty of that, too. We postponed it when we set up the original aTm series in Dallas, hopefully it gets played.

So, since there is "no chance", according to HV that ND every comes to Fayetteville, it's just a ploy by Long to sell season tickets for 8 years so that you'll be guaranteed a seat for this game that won't be played?
