Frank won't be on the board by the 21st pick in the draft. He will go higher.
Favorite quote from practice. Made to my son:

Technique is nice, but it comes down to this. Block the F'er in front of you. - Sam Pittman 2015

If he were an elite LT I might agree.

this. Centers and guards (even very good ones) rarely go in the first round. If he is a first round pick that will be quite an accomplishment.
This is fun, isn't it.

I second this motion

bennyl08

Year: Position of first center taken (position if more than 1 first rounder)
2017: 58
2016: 18
2015: 71
2014: 43
2013: 31
2012: 99
2011: 15
2010: 18
2009: 21 (28)
2008: 107

In short, Center is not a position that will be over-drafted. A QB you can guarantee will go early. A center will usually be drafted where they are properly valued. If it is in the top 20, so be it. If there isn't a single center in the top 100, so be it.

Interestingly, center is the 2nd least drafted position in the NFL outside of specialists and just ahead of fb's.

What this data shows is that Ragnow being the best center in the country is no guarantee of where he will be drafted assuming that the NFL agrees that he is the best. The question is if he is a first round caliber athlete.

damn I thought it was only a color, didn't realize it was named after a liqueur. leave it to benny to make me research the history of chartreuse

centers are not a high priority in the draft and if i recall are one of the lowest paid positions on the team. the fact that he can also play guard is a help, but i think thats pretty common among guard/center types...
