From the adg;

  Balseiro, who is 4 of 8 on field goal attempts in the past 12 games, including the 2004 season, hit a 39-yarder against Missouri State, but that was waved off because of a 5-yard delay of game penalty.
   Balseiro then missed a 44-yard attempt.
   Nutt said Balseiro and holder Jacob Skinner need to do a better job of clock management.
   "They had no awareness about the clock," Nutt said. "That's our fault. We've got to make sure they're more aware of the time and get out there and get set."

Hopefully they'll look a little further into the kicking game.

Quotehit a 39-yarder against

A positive sign.  He MADE that one.  1/2 from 39 and 44?  Not terrible.  But, I would like for 44 to be a 33% chance of hitting.

Bomis, you are the eternal optimist. 50% and it's a positive sign. I love your optimism, but I have to be a realist and say that game showed we still don't have special teams up to par.
