Vandy went deep on the first play but was negated by offsetting penalties.  Vandy comes out firing.
Little known fact, but prior to settling on Guantanamo, the Pentagon wanted to house terror suspects at War Memorial Stadium.  It was deemed to be cruel and unusual punishment and in violation of the Geneva Convention.

Bennett could have caught that one without the little push off...

Honor and Integrity no longer exist in the world of college football.  It is only filled with liar's cheater's, and traitors.

Dwight_K_Shrute

Bama just ran punt back for a TD, but then marked at 1/2 yard line.  Ref had to fall out of his way.

See Houston why special teams are so special?

hogs25

Tiffan"y" made it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hogs25

One thing I'm noticing about the kickoff team is Felix and Dmac will tear it up with those short kickoffs.

Dwight_K_Shrute

I'm afraid Vandy might puss out.  Bama just held them to 3 and out, and they had a crappy punt.  They must have tests on Monday

Bomis Hawg

That Offensive PI/Personal foul call just crushed their mojo.
Plus, a terrible punt.  Two drives: VU 1, Bama 40.  That's what you call an advantage.

Lincoln's picture looks like sheet.

Was thinking the same thing.  Am I watching an SEC game or Shiloh Gravette

Gonna be a long day for Vandy.

paradigm

Yeah bamma is about to score......Go Vandy?????

hogs25

It's what you call an LB production.  Low Budget

Dwight_K_Shrute

Vandy driving down to Bama 40, now around the 20 after a strike down the middle.

Ohio is ahead of Akron 3-2.  Don't know who is up to bat though.

The tailback for Bama (Grant) really looks fast though.

Refs gonna whack Vandy again here?

Yeah, looks like if Bama can't beat Vandy, the refs will.

Reaganite

hogs25

Typical refs during a Bama game.  I believe will beat them but the long passes from JPW scares me other than that they're not that tuff.

Reaganite

oooh, boo birds are gettin' loud.

blue

If you guys thought bama had the refs advantage and the better team, you should have bet a load on bama.

Hawg_Heaven

Is anyone surprised? I am not.

I am also not looking forward to the refs in the Bama game. I can see us getting screwed.

Dwight_K_Shrute

Vandy just threw an int going deep late.

Did anyone see the Vandy coach on the sideline pull a Shibest earlier.  Bama guy caught a pass on the sideline but then dropped it.  Vandy coach started acting foolish and pointing.  Vintage Shibest.

Reaganite

How did Nutt lose to Vandy???

Oliver

Bama is going to eat us for lunch next week.

blue

Well Reaganite, he benched a couple of frosh named jones, and Mcfadden. Plus he is a loser.

Reaganite

Vandy just picked alabubba.

Queen Hog

Holy cow...that one handed catch by the safety rivaled USC's one handed catch last week.
I lub me some HOGS!!!

Vandy goes for too many big plays causing their qb to hold on to the ball too long.  They need to worry more about sustained drives than quick hit low percentage plays

I saw the "Shibest" move also and thought the same thing.  Embarassing.

Bomis Hawg

That was probably a GA or ball boy who did that.

Reaganite

What a horrible 4th down throw.

He looked relatively old compared to a GA or ball boy and had a headset on.

Dwight_K_Shrute

Vandy's D is playing a pretty good game.  I think if you took Bobby Johnson and his staff and gave him talent equivalent to that at TN he would win the east.  He's a good coach and is getting everything he can out of Vandy.

Reaganite

Looks like Tiffin figured out how to kick the ball this year.

Dwight_K_Shrute

Vandy almost picked it off and Bama cannot put it in the endzone and will have to settle for a FG.

Saban may have made a mistake making Applewhite OC.  He just too young to handle that kind of pressure in the SEC.

For those who think we will be able to run all over Alabama, they have held Vanderbilt to 45 yards rushing.

Held Vanderbilt.  Woohoo!

Vandy's QB is running on a bad hammy, and their primary offensive weapon is a WR.     We'll still be able to run all day on Bama.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. is the score 13-3 or 13-9? espn says 13-9, while on lfs it says says 13-3

I disagree UNLESS our passing game is semi-effective.

Dwight_K_Shrute

Bama just missed a FG, Vandy will get ball with 2:30 left.  And Vandy just blew another down trying to go for a big game.  QB is struggling, but they need to get some shorter passes first to build Nickson's confidence.

Jeez on a 3rd and 1 they go for a 20 yard pass on the sideline that was out of bounds.  and now they shank the punt.  Christ!  They are giving it to Bama.  I'm not that impressed with either team.

They are talking about how Vandy packed them in for the game.  What they don't mention is at least 1/3 of the crowd is wearing red.

Vandy just got two 15 yard penalties and I think both will count because one is a dead ball which was complete bull $hit.  They go from being at their own 40 to being in FG range inside the 15 with 14 seconds left.

Typical Bama BS.
