msu defense looks great. they are giving them a run for their money
The dream is free, the journey is not.

If LSU keeps letting MSU hang around, this could be a long night. I didn't really think it was possible, but MSU's defense is looking good. Now if the offense can figure out how to move the ball. (Hint: Keep giving the ball to # 24.)

Oliver

MSU will never score if they keep starting off inside their own 20.

Check this out!  In a national high school track competition, Arkansas sprinter J-Mee Samules got 2nd, but look who set the JR record.  That would be little Trindon Holiday, the same guy who returned the kick against us.

MSU might not score if they started off inside LSU's 20.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

LSU is overrated and ive been saying that since the preseason polls came out, they lost to much in the draft and to graduation.

LSU will be gone from the polls when we meet em and we will make them wish they were fishing.

LSU's biggest loss wasn't talent on the field.

LSU's biggest loss was offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher to Florida State.

Everybody presumes this LSU team will be as tough as last year, but I, like you, think this team will falter once it gets into the meat of its SEC schedule.  Jimbo Fisher was as creative a utilizer of talent as the SEC has in OC's, and an even better recruiter.  Les Miles will rue the day he left.

Bacon out...

No doubt. I still look for this to turn into LSU covering the spread (around 20). MSU appears to be afraid of the end zone.
It's Festivus... for the rest of us!

MSU needs to do something on offense, if only to keep their defense fresh;  they can't hold up forever against LSU.

MSU better hold them to a FG or it's ballgame.

I'll bet someone $1 that LSU punches it in here.

I'm liking the new kickoff rule.

MSU may have more turnovers than 1st downs...

Close.  They have 3 first downs and 2 turnovers.  And zero chance of winning this game.

hognelson

I'm not sure State scores tonight. >:(

BigArkyintheRock

Wow. Closer game than I expected. MSU is turning the ball over so fast, it just messes them up.

The corn dogs don't look like the # 2 team in the country at all tonight.

Nice punt...errr...pick.

WPS! :razorback:
And in the 10th year, the Razorback faithful finally fired Houston Dale Nutt! Preach this, brotha!

If you want to eliminate the mental mistake - FIRE HDN! WPS!

hognelson

Wow, Lsu looks exposed a bit with the OL.

BigArkyintheRock

MSU almost gets a safety. hammers the LSU QB on the 1 yard line for a sack! Nice.

LSU's offensive line has been terrible; 5 penalties on the night already, and Flynn has run for his life a time or two.

If MSU had balls, they'd take advantage of this field position.

they'll have that worked out by the end of the year. I wish we played them early like this.

BigArkyintheRock

Safety would be nice here.

LSU is stopped on 3rd down. Have to punt from their endzone. 1:58 to play before the half for those who are following th egame, but don't have the coverage.

No doubt, their D looks fairly stout though.

What am I talking about, you always need more cow bell. ;)

Err, now I know it's easy to bash Shiloh Christian, but I'm pretty there aren't that many high schools in Arkansas that have a player picked in the 3rd round of the NFL Draft.
Or have you forgotten where Damian Williams played school?

selfexplanatory

4 turnovers in the first half for State?

Henig is just awful . . . horrible decision making tonight.

Oliver

Somehow MSU has more passing yards than LSU.

wooo

anyone have an internet link to watch?

hognelson

4 turnovers and it's still only 10-0.  Any possibility Tigers are holding back part of the playbook?  I'm not sure they are....

selfexplanatory

State's defense has to deflate sooner or later.  I mean how many times can the offense let you down?

Nah.  Penalties have killed their drives on a couple of occasions.    At least 5 penalties on their offensive line already.

LSU is being sloppy on offense.  With 4 turnovers, LSU should be up by 21 at least.  Do they realize they are playing MSU???
