But yes. My answer is yes.

PorkRinds

Tillman isn't going to be part of any "finish".  He's not going to even be an option until past NSD.

Walker. Day. RW3. Whaley. Porter. Hammonds. Evans.

That's plenty...I'll take another oline guy instead of Jacobs.

Cleveland and Porter would be mic drop on their own.  You add Fulton and Bundage, you are getting into legendary mic drop status.

If ever.

Any finish that includes Cleveland or Fulton would be fantastic. Add Porter to one of those two and you have a home run.

What's the story behind this Joshua Jacobs kid? This is the first I'm hearing about him. I don't see an offer from us or anything

Except there aren't any on the radar.

Mic drop?  I think I'd go ahead and smash my guitar and kick the drums in.

Oklahawg

Tulsa World indicated Missouri and Alabama, maybe Oklahoma, for Jacobs. Did mention there are offers from UA, OSU, TU, etc. Not sure what is commitable out of that list.

I am a Hog fan when we win, when we lose and when we don't play. I love hearing the UA band play the National Anthem on game day, but I sing along to the Alma Mater. UA as in Arkansas?

Why are we even discussing Jacobs?  Have I missed something?

I read somewhere on here today about Singleton and Jacobs. Am I the only one that read that or am I losing my mind?

It's in the "If no Porter then who?" thread. Poster mentions Singleton and RD and Jacobs.

If you're in the recruiting forum, you're losing your mind. To answer your question, i believe Singleton was who originally found Jacobs.

Since I am in the Pacific Time zone and it will still be pretty early in the day when this is known, I will have plenty of time to get completely inebriated celebrating that finish.

Won't see me in the office on Thursday.  That's how good that finish is!

Sure, but I think you have too many RBs.  Replace Jacobs with Fulton, and then on impact, the mic ignites into a shower of sparks!

Here's the Tulsa World article on Jacobs that Oklahawg mentioned.

http://www.tulsaworld.com/sportsextra/johnklein/john-klein-the-curious-case-of-joshua-jacobs/article_07bb3827-e62c-5e05-a89c-ac868abc6656.html

QuoteAll of the schools in this area — Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Tulsa and Arkansas — were pretty much ignoring him as recently as two weeks ago. Now, they are all-in for the recruitment of Jacobs.

I don't know if this is true for Arkansas and I don't mind that we pass on players other big schools want.  But it drives me nuts when they're this close to Fayetteville and we do want them, but drop the ball while recruiting them.  I have to assume this isn't the case here, since I've yet to see anywhere that we've offered him, despite that we're supposedly "all-in for the recruitment of Jacobs".

Having said that, I wouldn't mind him at all.

I suspect one could describe it as such.

texhog22

the "drop the mike" only works once. Now its just old already. Do a "spit take" or commit and then moonwalk out of the room etc. Now that would be funny. The "spit take" would of course have to be done by the person he was commiting to.

I think most would drop a deuce in their drawers if we pulled that list.
