Saw ole Lou's pic in this thread. My thoughts go back to his "do right" rule in connection with the '78 Orange Bowl. In that sense I believe than Mr. Harris has shown that he understands the rule spirit of the word. You "do right" by being a man of your word. You pledged the Hogs and nothing, not even including the "Dark Forces" known as the Tide, will keep you from honoring your word. More recently this whole notion goes by another term: #uncommon.
