Maybe tenner is using Colorado as template for recruiting. I know these coaches are good recruiters but now we are finding out who the real lead recruiters are. This same thing brought colorado down and tenner may have really given the NCAA a reason to investigate. Would not surprise me if the same thing is going on at aubie, bammar, lsu.

poor tennessee fans on vol nation dont understand why its illegal for a bunch of UT girls to drive 200 miles to a key recruits football games

they must not read NCAA rules at all
Honor and Integrity no longer exist in the world of college football.  It is only filled with liar's cheater's, and traitors.

......and on the third row of Lane Kiffin's library is his volume of Jackie Sherrill's book, "Kiss This NCAA!".....

Have you ever listened to someone  or read what they put into thoughts and wondered...."who ties your shoelaces for you?"

The blog you support is just what it says, a blog.  No shred of credibility.  You might as well read the Tennessee message boards to get your info.  It is about as reliable about this topic.

At least the below link is a legit newspaper.

So what great wisdom do you deduce from the photo?  Maybe in your dreams or fantasy world.

I am not saying there is nothing to the story but blogs are not very reliable.  Especially when you do not know the agenda of the person behind them.  Beware of the Blog.

Where are the VOL posters to tell us that this is all part of the genius Lane Kiffin's plan to make sure everybody is talking about UT?  It is so funny to hear them spin on every screw up.

I heard a caller on a Knoxville radio show this morning say exactly what you stated - that it's a good thing because it's bringing national attention to UT, no punishment will come from this, and the only people who are being negative are the UT haters.
I'd rather be dead than be a Vol

He seems to be very good at it.  Makes a lot of folks look like idiots claiming he is screwing up then comes out smelling like a rose.  Kiffin pushes the envelope and Meyer gets to pay the check.  It would not surprise me if he came out of this in good shape and Spurrier gets hammered.

I think it's funny how some on here are acting all high and mighty. There's a saying about stones and glass houses...

Happy Hogger

No intent to be high and mighty, because I am sure all schools have issues that we would prefer go unnoticed, just love to hear your's and Realist's spin on these transgressions.

The Realist

I'm friends with one of the girls who is involved so I won't be saying much on it at all.
All I will say is if the NCAA is going to start patrolling facebook for recruiting, they can have fun with that and the can of worms it will bring.

I don't recall us having an escort service for our recruits. Got anything else?

We do.  They escort the recruits here and there on campus and at games.  You will typically see them with the recruits on the sideline.

That's why Nutt's recruiting was so bad - he was using Theresa as one of the escorts.

Well I will guarantee you that you won't see our young ladies traveling off campus to bring signs begging the recruits to come to the Hill. I believe one of the major bone of contention is that the "Ambassadors" are in some cases traveling quite a ways to promote the school.

Yeah. They shouldn't leave campus - that being said I don't think Tenn is gonna get hit for this, its a small issue. There is no escorts/strippers hired like Colorado. I wish they would though...have two of their d recruits coming for a visit soon and it'd be nice to use sanctions against em.

I almost fainted when I saw that picture.  The blonde looks exactly like a girl I dated 35 years ago.  You talk about deja vue(sp).  Maybe it is her daughter.  I have to check on that.

They have to connect the dots.  In other words, someone on the football coaching staff has to be involved.  If the girls were on there own, it is a NCAA violation but would go against the university and not a specific program.  Not sure how that works.  My guess would be another secondary for the University and not specifically the football program.

If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.
