Has anyone ever record Cox DVR material to a DVD Recorder?

I browsed and found these to postings, I hope they help.

An easy way? Not really, as far as I know. You'd either need a vidcap card on your PC, or an external convertor like Plextor's ConvertX.

should be able to do it w/ a capture card (as mentioned above) using the coax outs (i have charter, not cox)... my dvr also has firewire, but I don't know if they are enabled or if they could even be used for the same purpose? they need to make these things networkable and include built in ftp software etc ;)

I have tried every configuration I can think of and nada....
