how do you download a picture onto your profile

how can i get a picture from my computer as my avi?  thanks.

Depends, normally you need to take a screen shot (hit print screen) then go to Paint or Photoshop and paste it.

Save it as a jpg or a bmp.

do you click "i have my own pic". if so it says i have to enter url, example http//myspace.com/mypic

Go you your profile, then select Forum profile on the left hand side.  Select I will upload my own pic and hit the "browse" button.  That will prompt you to select a file that you have saved on your computer.
Games don't make people violent, lag does.

for some reason i don't have the upload or browse.

how small does the pic need to be?  I keep trying to load a .gif file as my avatar and it keeps telling me it's too big or not an avatar.
