Good showing by Arkansas Bassmaster Elite anglers

First Bassmaster Elite tournament of season concluded today at Lake Seminole in Georgia.  Rookie Brett Hite won with a 4 day total of 97 lbs. using mainly a chatterbait. Mt. Ida's Mark Davis finished 3rd (80 lbs) and Mayflower's Kevin Short finished 5th (76 lbs.). Stephen Browning of Hot springs wound up in 24th.  Overall, a good start and helps in their efforts to qualify for year end events and next year's Bassmaster Classic.
