3 former Hogs and 2 former Wildcats, I'd say he has an interest in being there.

Quote from: sickboy on Today at 08:18:50 pmYeah, there's a lot of rumblings. I'd guess he's a silent.

Just for the sake of generating discussion. What is the point of a silent commit? Especially at this point in the roster building?

Maybe the first question should be... What is a silent commit?

The more telling stat is we lost that from a team ranked 13th in the SEC in team talent. (15th, when considering UT and OU)

We replaced it with the 15th rated recruiting class and 11th rated portal class in the SEC.

Quote from: Philip Seaton on Today at 08:05:07 pmNo direct knowledge, but he is in the draft too, and this is weak draft class. He may be staying in.
He commented on the osobor being highest paid player at 2 mil like oh really? I read it as Im gonna get more. If the price tag is really 2 mil I hope we pass and get a stud forward and wing and lead guard with that money

Quote from: MemphisBossHog on Today at 08:48:42 pmwell I guess thats better than saying the alternative.   Have been reading and hearing that Cal does things on his own time and whereas we might be used to Muss moving in and closing the deal fast, Cal has his own timetable.  Maybe DJ is not jazzed about coming to Fayetteville since he is from Camden NJ.  Who knows?  And then again, it could be an NIL situation where DJ wants to renegotiate the deal he had in Lexington.  I think we will be alright either way, but certainly love having the talent in Fayetteville.

I think it's as simple as Cal is basically Saban level in college basketball recruiting and he can take his time because of his past record and all of those NBA players he has put in the league.  Muss had to hustle because he doesn't have that pedigree yet.  Cal is THE big dog in college recruiting and can be patient.
