Thanks for all the updates. Listened to the 2nd half and thoroughly enjoyed it. Really wished I lived in NWA and could go to these games. Should be a very fun team to watch.

My take is that the offensive production would not have dropped off as much with CJ Jones on the floor with the 2nd unit. We would have topped 100 easily with him on the floor. Still, 94 points ain't bad.
Hoping the Hogs basketball fortunes change for the better this season.

It's going to be interesting/exciting to see them as competition upgrades... they appear to have all the intangibles, height, athleticism,speed to go with shooters, rebounders and  defenders ... Mike talking about deflections and wanting 40 per game... I remember the days when we had Huery, Day, Mayberry etc. teams often could not get the ball past half court without our touching their passes.. and as the game wore on, they started committing more turnovers .. and we were off to the races.. and Nolan commenting how we wanted to wear them down.. looks as though this team has some to those same traits.

I remember those days. That's why I like that Anderson seems to be focusing on a lot of guys in the 6-5 to 6-8 ranger. Long arms, instincts, and scheme to create disruption. I am very interested as to how this team will gel and what it will look like by February.

Love seeing Nolan. I chose to remember the good ole days with him and not the bad. Would be great if he was involved with the program in some way. Also, great to hear about the back court being physical. The guards have to set the tone on defense and offense.

Coach Richardson looks very thin in the picture.  I'm hoping he's losing weight for positive health reasons.  Is there anyone who knows him well enough to let us Hog fans know that one of our great legends is doing well with his health?  Always loved watching the man coach!

Arkansas beat Emporia State 94-44 (+50).

Kansas beat Emporia State 104-62 (+42).

KU shot 31-44 inside, 7-18 outside, +18 rebounds, +5 turnovers. KU allowed 10-33 inside, 9-29 outside.

Arkansas shot 27-45 inside, 5-14 outside, +15 rebounds, +11 turnovers. Hogs allowed 13-36 inside, 3-15 outside.

Looks pretty good.

Jaylen Barford will be the puzzle piece that fits all line-ups. Intensity, maturity, diversity, IQ, scoring, distribution, he's got it all. Reminds me of the great JUCO players who have graced this program in the past. Exciting!
