He needs more minutes.. he played well considering. We need to got with Beard and CJ close to even. Gafford and Bailey need 25 to Thomas and Thompson's 15. Just gotta go with athletes and speed in this system. Jones stretched the floor and helped our bad spacing.

My first thought. He ended knocking down 4 3s, but he missed at least 3 when we needed a 3 to push over the hump when trying to come back. Not mad at him, though.

Beard had a lot of shots blocked and really struggled with the size of UNC defenders. He definitely struggled, but I guess the whole team did.

They need to spread the offense and have cutters constantly, standing around watching will get you beat against good teams but constant motion without the ball will allow you to win games against teams that are more talented than you. Perhaps get some game film of John Havlicek (don't laugh). Hondo wasn't a great athlete but no one likes to guard a guy who will keep moving constantly. Remember the 1994-95 team that went to the finals lost to UMass by 24 points, so this loss is not going to make or break this team. I am not worried about this team. Today's game is an aberration.   

ad: one more thing, just keep your mouth closed about who you are playing and put your butt down and heads up and "D" everybody the frig up !

This...Macon was finding him before he got hurt but it took CJ a couple of shots before he settled down...He will be fine. Otherwise this was a good loss if there is such a thing.

We need more depth and length the guard spot...2018 will address this issue.
