I think you are thinking of last night.  He struggled.  But he has very competent all season.  It's a lot easier to type on a message board than to be out there under the lights.  And I'm as guilty as anyone in my criticisms.

It's his only error on the books but he kicked a ball that allowed a runner to go to 2nd. He probably should have gotten to the bloop that scored, but it was a tough play. He hasn't been sharp for sure but it is his only error

Well I take that back, we have made contact tonight but haven't been able to do it with runners in scoring position. When they announced Knight wouldn't pitch tonight I automatically thought we would lose. This could very easily be a different ball game though.
