Tribe looks to be starting 1-3 this fall OUCH!
If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

Fact is 1-4 is very possible.

Beating SMU and Georgia Southern at their place will a challenge, especially if the totally new OL is still getting it's act together.

The good news is this A-State team is actually more talented than last years, so don't be surprised if they get on another roll again this year.

Getting Troy at home, in December is a big, big plus.

ASU will go 8-4 with that schedule. Losses to Neb, Miami, SMU and one conference game. Either GS or ULL.
"Golf is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated; it satisfies the soul and frustrates the intellect. It is at the same time rewarding and maddening – and it is without a doubt the greatest game mankind has ever invented." Arnold Palmer.

That is pretty much where I am at, but IMO they are more talented than SMU, GaSo or ULL, but they lost to three teams they had more talent than last year.

Really interested  in seeing if having Anderson calling plays gets the offense close to what they were expecting when they decided to again go with an offensive guru as HC.

I totally agree with this comment by CFN in this article because talent covers a lot of shortcomings in college football, and IMO only two teams on their schedule have more talent than them:

"Give it a little time, and Arkansas State should be able to roll and be in the mix for the Sun Belt title once again. Give the coaching staff a little time and the lines should be fine, but it's asking a whole lot to replace so much experience on both sides. With Nebraska coming up first and Miami to follow, it could be a rough go early on. The ranking will be much, much higher as the season goes on – just like last year – but give it a bit."
