Race 7 at Parx, MSW, #11, 4-1 ML odds
A customer of mine in Phoenix said this one is live per a sportsbook in Vegas...that's all I've got but wanted to share.
If it runs good then you're welcome, if it doesn't then someone hacked my account and shared this info without me knowing it LOL.
Either way it's worth taking a look at and if you like what you see in the form then this might make you like it more.
We'll see what happens...

HogFanInBryant

For the record, I'll probably just bet $50 to win simply so I don't kick myself if I don't have any $ on it and it runs off in a hand ride.

HogFanInBryant

2 min to post, 8-1...interesting...going with $25 WP on this one.

HogFanInBryant

What a joke...horse had no shot to win and no excuses...blah!

holeinthewall

I don't do tips.  At least on a Win ticket. I made it into a multi pick race where I am already into it with multiple horses. Most tip bets end up like toilet paper. In the crapper.

If it's not from the trainer, I don't care to hear it.

husker71

if it is from the trainer I dont care to hear it.   lol   been burned a few times as you can tell

kingoftherapids

the best tips come from the people who work the horse every day. yes, CERTAIN trainers can be good, but the best are the people who get on the horse every day

kingoftherapids

owners... i never listen to an owner. they all think their horse is going to win (which i would too). some trainers are like that too. and it is a trap lol

userpick

Well I can tell you, I have a trainer at oaklawn who is very negative lol. If he says a horse is going to run, go to the window lol

jdelo77

Heard many of trainers , owners and jockeys give tips ! I've found they are right about 10% of the time lol ...but you would be pissed if the horse won at 25-1 ...so it's one of those things ...

I would rather make my own decisions. I have people that rarely go to the races say hey pick me some horses. I won't do it its their money not mine I don't want to be responsible for their losses if they don't win.

husker71

We used to let the guy who ran the jockeys room at Aksarben hunt and fish our property just outside of Omaha.  He would have me run bets for him to the window once in awhile.  When he gave me something to bet it was almost always good.  One time gave me $100 dollar bill and had me bet the 1-4 double and it paid $36.  My high school football coach ran the high bet window there so I never got shut out since there was never a long line and he would let me jump to the front.

husker71

never trust owners because they all think they are going to win BUT the owner who is also the trainer to me are sometimes the best way to go.

i play verticals and i never leave out a mike lauer horse owned by penny lauer. more of these owner trainer combos at smaller tracks and often times you see them win. at a price too

oldman1015

Owners, trainers, or jockeys you just have to learn who gives good advice. I know people who get tips on 3 or 4 horses in the same race. I've good a good friend who is there every day. He doesn't listen to many of them but  when he does they win at a high percentage.
Arkansas, the left lane state.

jdelo77

Good example I talked to a guy Friday night , he told two horses the he said were ready to fire ! I bought him a drink and sat with for a few races in his box , I go back to his box in the 6th and he's asking me who I like lol ...we made some money then he bought me drinks ...just goes to show you

RockChalkJayhawk

I'd just like to know which trainers are really trying in a particular race.  Not every horse entered is in it to win it, not every trainer enters every horse where it has a legit shot.  Obviously that is not how the game is played but it would be cool to know.

And I suppose sometimes you just never know, and that's why it's racing.  Hell, I've had bball teams I thought were ready to play, then they lay an egg, or I messed something up, etc...

Best source for the above was edbain.com  - back when it was free, the trainer stats that revealed intentions were significantly profitable.  Ed charges now, so I've not subscribed.

HogFanInBryant

This same source gave me a horse at Calder (I think I posted it on here) about 5 years ago that won a MSW and paid $73 to win...yes $73.  I've been hooked every time he gives me horses since.  He's done ok, but this one ended up being a complete dud!

We all do it man ! I think all of us at one point In Time or another has given out a horse or some info on one ! But like I said it's the time you don't bet and they cross the wire a big odds that your kicking yourself for not betting !

I sure feel bad giving info on a horse when it doesn't do good, but would also feel guilty if I didn't share it and it wins and pays good $...catch 22 lol!

husker71

can you pm me the name of that horse again.  Lost alot on my computer Sunday including my stable from twinspires   Thank you

Not exactly a tip as he will be the heavy favorite, but someone I know close to the Chad brown barn said their best 3yo dirt horse might be running in the 6th at GP. He's making his debut.

Well guys I got word that #2 Fleet Gray in the fourth is ready to rock and roll. I get tips from time to time but 90% of them aren't worth posting. Mostly from small time trainer and some owners. Most of them say they "feel good about their chances" blah, blah blah. Well this tip is as legit as they come. I was told this horse will win "by open lengths." So, take it for what it's worth and hopefully the odds stay around ML of 8-1 but that would just be a dream. I'm in big at 3-1 and above.

I also got a heads up on the 4 horse, Mrs. Pedecaris, in the 2nd.
Quote from: mckinneyhog5 on April 07, 2019, 10:29:55 pmGuys, we have hired the BEST coach that we could have hired. Musselman is gonna rock it here like we haven't seen since the early 90's. Just sit back and watch it unfold! We WILL be a nationally recognized program again soon.

You aren't supposed to feed the vultures...you are absolutely correct!  But I don't like seeing people who are being cool and sharing info get shamed or disrespected by a person who has absolutely contributed ZERO to this horse racing forum.  There are some great people in here!  I've had words with a few in here in the past but I feel like those of us who have been around here for a long time have earned the right to be a prick occasionally lol...and it's usually harmless banter lol.

Sorry for the stinkers guys...it would have appeared by the tote boards that both horses drew action. Also, don't worry, I promise I lost way more more money then the dude bitching. I'll make up for it with good old handicapping and throw ya'll a good LS this meet. I was told that an issue occurred with Fleet Gray during the race which caused the bad performance.
Anyway, this is why I hate posting tips...it also makes me not handicap the race like I normally would.

Doesn't look like much speed in that race. Could be whoever goes to the front wins it.

I've got one good tip in my life....1989-OP, horse-Ralphie(first time starter for 25mdn cl)  trainer-Terry Dunlavy (my paw in law's trainer) #11 post position, jockey "lil Ralphie Nicks)...drove from Stephens, AR to Hot Springs with 300 dollars in my pocket for one race...the only decision was how to play the horse...I said "F it, I'm going for this" so I 20 dollar wheeled him in the exacta...220 dollars....if he wins and the favorite runs second I leave a lot of money on the table from a straight up win bet, but, Ralphie won by coming down the middle of the track...I was going nuts, until I looked up to see a Stewards Inquiry on my horse for ducking in and two objections, one against my horse and the favorite in the race who ran 3rd claimed foul against the 2nd place horse who showed 99-1 on the board...in what seemed the longest stewards inquiry/rider objections, the OP stewards decided to change nothing....I went ape shot jumping up and down when I saw the #11-#2 exacta paid 1,448.40 on a two dollar exact ticket...I did not mind paying the 20% taxes off the top, well not too bad, but I took the money in cash, sprinted to my car and drove home to momma. All other tips have sucked.
The long Grey line will never fail our country.
