I take it that Chapman is their ace?  He has already thrown 137 pitches, ORU is treating this like the College World Series.

It is just hard to keep the intensity up for the midweek games but geeezzzzzzzzzz 17 K's thats unreal, sort of like an over matched little league team.........

Bogghawg

Chapman's not their ace.  He had only pitched 29 innings prior to tonight.

Coach is visiting with Chapman.
Papa John's pitching change.  2 outs - runners on first and second, 9th inning.  Duggar up to face a new pitcher.  Chapman went 9 2/3s.  17 strike outs only 3 runs, 2 earned.

Schaeffer drives me crazy.

DUGGAR HITS IT TO DEEP LEFT CENTER, WAY BACK, AND IT'S caught against the wall to end the game.
"If I lived back in the wild west days, instead of carrying a six-gun in my holster, I'd carry a soldering iron. That way, if some smart-aleck cowboy said something like "Hey, look. He's carrying a soldering iron!" and started laughing, and everybody else started laughing, I could just say, "That's right, it's a soldering iron. The soldering iron of justice." Then everybody would get real quiet and ashamed, because they had made fun of the soldering iron of justice, and I could probably hit them up for a free drink."

"I hope if dogs ever take over the world, and they chose a king, they don't just go by size, because I bet there are some Chihuahuas with some good ideas."

Sorry guys, my play by play debut sucked.  It was soooooo close to a 3 run homer.  Oh well, that's baseball.  We'll be fine.

Hes horrible ........how many different pitch levels can a person have in their voice............and please quit getting so excited over balls hit to the warning track........when a fly ball leaves the bat Rick doesnt sound any different if its 60 feet over the fence or just a deep fly ball out........

That is a lot of pitches.  That guy will be worthless come postseason if they keep using him like that.

Chapman isnt ORU's ace, but he is their top reliever...   and he's done this to us before

I believe he was the winning pitcher against us in the regionals last year
Honor and Integrity no longer exist in the world of college football.  It is only filled with liar's cheater's, and traitors.

MAJOR props to the ORU pitcher. 17 K's? Wow!
