- - - exactly "who" or "what" our football program needs; - but whatever and/or whoever it is, it's something and someone we definitely don't have at the present time, - - - - and show no signs of attaining at any time in the near future.

It's the height of foolishness to continue fishing in a barrel when that barrel contains only a few minnows.  Let's salvage the few minnows for bait, grab our fishing gear and head for the river and at least TRY for some bigger fish.  The barrel ain't cutting it.

Lobsters seem to be causing some angst with the team and derision with the fan base. Fishing probably won't fair any better. We should prolly stay clear of anything aquatic. Don't need anything jelly, jam, or preserves based either. We're really starting to paint ourselves into a real corner on the options front.....
