Why does Pick'ems close so soon?

Dang it another weeek went by and I missed the deadline again.  If I start planing for college football games on a Wednesday night, the week drags on forever...Could we keep it open until Friday night?  just not have any games to choose from playing before ther? 
Just can't help smiling these days!!!
