Just thought this was interesting: http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/feidef2014

Rank by year:
A&M 2014: 108 (AR: 14)
A&M 2015: 17 (AR: 91) - Chavis 1st year
A&M 2016: 52 (AR: 78)
A&M 2017: 37 (AR: 114)

Thoughts? Seems total D isn't a good stat for a tempo team (so I hear) so I was looking for some other indicator.

None of you prognosticators have words of wisdom?

You know the saying "if you don't have anything negative to say, don't say anything".😎😎😎

There's math involved.

Facts always stump the naysayers.

If your offence keeps having 3 and outs it wears out your defence, A&M had 5 in a row today in the first half. Was that what was wrong the aggie defence, no just part of it.

I'm on the chavis bandwagon....but you might wanna explain your post before calling anybody out because 75% of this board isn't gonna know what you're talking about and only about 5% of that group will click that link.

Thats kind of the point

Snout team

At first i didn't realize you had to choose the year to change the chart.  I thought it was giving us the number 12 ranked defense in the nation last year.  I was having serious doubts about its accuracy lol.

It actually looks like a reasoned approach.  Sheds a different light on things for sure.
The scout team (snout team) is an important part of the team although it gets little credit.
