The group of Linebackers, Defensive Tackles, and Tight Ends is simply outstanding.  Those 3 groups could be the best set ever signed by UCA in one class.  In regards to the Wide Receivers, UCA is having to replace 6'4" WR, Dezmin Lewis (who went to the Senior Bowl).  The WRs McMillian and Moore have very good size.  The QB, Harfield, has a good arm.

An excellent recruiting class for a very possible in the future serious contention for a FCS National Championship.

Thanks for the update.

Know all the recruiting sites have A-State as either the #1 or #2 best class in the SBC, and a solid G5 class, and Arkansas as a top 25 class , but can't find where they rank SLC teams.

24/7 ranks 137 classes and there are a handful of FCS in the rankings but no SLC teams.

Here is the video of Steve Campbell talking about the signees.

Campbell talked about wanting to get bigger and more physical.  He stated in the video that they didn't have a 300 lb.'er playing on Defense last season.  Here is what their possible starting defensive front 7 looks like for the upcoming season.

DE:  Woodard   6'6"  271 lbs.   All-American
                                                                       OLB:  Garner   6'3"  235 lbs.
DT:  King   6'3"  300 lbs.
                                                                       MLB:  Sharp   6'3"  230 lbs.
DT:  Williams   6'3"  370 lbs.
                                                                       OLB:  Pope   6'3"  245 lbs.
DE:  Loving   6'5"  268 lbs.

6'3 370 is a bit overweight.  That guy's gonna need to drop a few to be able to move.

If they feel he needs to lose some, they can get him down to around 330-340 lbs.

Their Strength and Conditioning Coach (Robert Stiner) has worked in the LSU Football S&C Program and the Mississippi State Football S&C Program.  Stiner has also worked at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO.
