Condolences to his family. This may be crass but I have no sympathy for drug or alcohol abusers. I've seen and dealt with it in my own family.
If I'm going to cheer players and coaches in victory, I damn sure ought to be man enough to stand with them in defeat.

Yes but it so sad to me to see one with such talent just waste it.
