I realize that everyone's let down after Friday's loss but it would be great to come home having won 2 of 3.  That should keep our spirits high.

beating a top 150 team will not be better for you than losing to a top 10 team. They will be considered good losses at the end of the year, they also do not look at how bad people lose.

I would say they are equal. 

Lose to midmajor - bad
Win against midmajor - fine
Lose to UNC - fine (but extremely frustrating)
Win against UNC - Huge.
