Post in the proper forum and I'll get over it.

Yet it is still here.  Its like the Basketball mods like it being here.  Huh.
No cause, ever, in the history of all mankind, has produced more cold-blooded tyrants, more slaughtered innocents, and more orphans than socialism with power. It surpassed, exponentially, all other systems of production in turning out the dead. The bodies are all around us. And here is the problem: No one talks about them. No one honors them. No one does penance for them. No one has committed suicide for having been an apologist for those who did this to them. No one pays for them. No one is hunted down to account for them. It is exactly what Solzhenitsyn foresaw in The Gulag Archipelago: "No, no one would have to answer. No one would be looked into." Until that happens, there is no "after socialism."

Maybe so. But I will continue to dis it as long as it is in the wrong forum. I guess the Basketball mods don't care if I respond to this thread by wishing you would take it to the forum they created this discussion to be in. Jump Ball was created to discuss Razorback basketball.

MMQB has the NFL Forum
Road to Omaha has the MLB Forum

The latter of those 2 both have active posters who are interested.

There is no other basketball forum.  There is very little NBA talk because it has less overall love (at least of terms of posting on Hogville).  Sending it anywhere kills the discussion.  It's one thread, in the offseason, during the NBA playoffs.

Why you continue to post in says more about you than the mods or its location.

There are a dozen threads in MMQB right now that have nothing to do with Hog football.  How come you aren't posting in all of those?

If you need a formal cease and desist, it can likely be provided, though that's a resort that its better not to use, for something so minor.

Quit bitching about the NBA being discussed.  Its here to stay, as it has been for years, and will remain here.

Golden State is clearly the better team if Lebron can put the team on his back and pull this out he will be a lot closer to MJ in my eyes. Maybe even MJ as 1a and James as 1B.

Again, I don't care what the moderators do. There is a forum for non Razorback Sports. And you should use that forum for anything that does not pertain to Razorbacks. Evidently you don't have to. And I can continue to add to your thread about a useless argument that has no definitive answer and at least try to use the word Razorbacks in my comments so that (I guess) makes the discussion somewhat about the Hogs. You are welcome.

Well Vegas and most experts say so but besides that Kevin Love was the best player on a horrible team the stats are always inflated in this case. He is a good player but I wouldn't trade him for Green. Curry or Irving well flip a coin for me, Klay Thompson or JR smith really...? Durant hfer small forward vs LeBron now tell me really how you think the teams are equal. Lebron will have to play way above a HFER for his team to have a chance.

EastexHawg

You could have put Michael Jordan on a team with Opie Taylor, Oprah Winfrey, and the two guards from Mena High School and he wouldn't be a 93% underdog against anyone.  Of course that is hyperbole, but you get the point.

Giving LeBron credit by saying he is playing against a team he can't expect to beat isn't a ringing endorsement for him as the greatest player on the planet, and certainly not as the best of all time.

hog.goblin

I know Golden St is loaded, and their coach has implemented a terrific system for their talent.

EastexHawg

It was a bit shocking to see one of the greatest defensive players in history looking like Rocky Balboa chasing the chicken last night when Steph Curry...as someone on TV this morning put it..."went Harlem Globetrotter on him."  Durant later faking him out of his jock and slamming on him wasn't a stellar moment, either.

It seems the Cavaliers find the sledding a little tougher when they play opponents outside the Eastern Conference.  You know, athletes who can actually handle the ball and move.  Watching Marcus Smart "handle" the ball in the Eastern Conference Finals is still a sight I wish I could unsee.

One more thing...if you are DVRing the games, go back and replay each of LeBron's drives to the basket.  You give me $100 every time he extends his off arm and pushes off the defender...two different defenders on one drive last night...and I'll give you $100 when he doesn't do it.  I'll call my wife to let her know I'm going to be able to retire a year earlier than expected.

This is what i have been saying, and i am not sure who it was that disagrees, but LeBron is the "Shaq" of point forwards.  The guy makes his living tucking the ball and running a blast play over the goal line.  Just tossing folks and running over people on his way to the hoop. If he isn't getting that play, then they aren't winning against a team like Golden state. I just think the guy is getting worn out having to defend KD and all the other threats on GS, and he looks pist off at his teammates.

Sure this could all change once they get to "believeland" but i think the mojo of getting one for the land is gone.  They can't beat up the splash brothers anymore.  KD stuffing Love and then finishing (no foul again LeBron big surprise) on the other end just showed me how strong GS is.

EastexHawg

There was one play on the left side of the floor last night on which two Golden State players were simply pushed to the floor.  I'm not sure about the first one, but the second was LeBron just plain knocking Curry down.  There was no call.  Shocking, I tell you.

I have never seen one player as consistently commit obvious offensive fouls on drives to the basket as LeBron.  Apparently the league has simply decided to let him get away with them.

I may be all wrong, but after what I have seen in the first two games I think it may have been part of the Cavaliers' strategy to physically punish or intimidate Curry.  He has been pushed around and hammered a few times.  I am guessing that is part of why he seems to have extra motivation in this series.  I think it hurt him in the first half last night because he was trying to do too much, make too many spectacular passes.

311Hog

oh yeah the strat is definitely to rough up Steph.  The Cavs problem is that Draymond isn't going to get himself suspended this time, and even if he did KD is there.  I think Steph spent the past year knowing that the Cavs would come after him physically again this year and he is prepared for it.

ShadowHawg

James can carry a bunch of bums to the finals and Jordan couldn't.

Jordan would maximize a good roster more than James can.

I personally take Jordan but James is amazing in his own right.

Who did they have to beat to get to the Finals?  Have you watched the Eastern Conference lately?  Boston was the #1 seed in the East.  In my opinion they would probably have been about #7 if they played in the West.  They went 37-16 against the East and 16-13 against the West.

Things change over time, but in recent years the real power in the NBA has been in the West.  Getting to the Finals out of the East isn't nearly as difficult.

hog.goblin

Keep in mind G St didn't lose a single playoff game in the West either.

G St is one of the best teams in recent memory.

Yeah that's a good statement but I also think if you removed Jordan from any of his finals teams they probably wouldn't win but I think Pippen and CO keeps it competitive and fairly close. While they are already getting handled pretty good take Lebron off it would look like a pee wee team vs pro. I still say Jordan would stay number one but if Lebron could pull out this final series somehow he becomes my clear cut number 2 and pretty close to Jordan.

Hogimus Prime

Jordan would've mentally beaten the Cavs and Warriors.  MJ was just on another level when it came to the mental part of the game

EastexHawg

Paul Pierce just said there is a zero percent chance that Golden State sweeps because LeBron won't allow it to happen.  I'd like to get in on some of that action.

EastexHawg

I'll just throw this out there.  Watch the officiating tonight.  The league and the network have plenty of reason$ not to want this series to end early.

The Warriors are practically playing 4 on 5 in this series when Pachulia is in the game.  He has been dreadful.  Tonight he was scoreless with one rebound and one assist to go along with at least a couple of stupid and crippling fouls.  I have no idea why Curry or Thompson would ever come down the floor and pass it to him.  Wow, he's about as mobile and useful as a cardboard cutout.

its the self imposed governor on the team.  if they had a 5 worth a darn they would be unstoppable.  Might be anyway.  just keep trading in green for dre and visa versa let za za sit on the bench and collect a ring.

McGee has a lot of talent and has been a playmaker when he is on the floor.  David West has been a real contributor despite his age.  If Pachulia had half his basketball skills he would be a force to be reckoned with.

oh yeah i agree it is just those two guys have flaws, age, no offensive game outside of lobs etc.

If they found a versatile 4/5 almost "all star" level player it would be insanely scarey

McGee yes is limited to around the rim but West used to have a decent midrange game didn't think jumper typically went with age? I wonder if he is reluctant to shoot the midrange cause he has so many sharpshooters around him
I agree with eastex I think they should get a few more of his minutes the way he is playing. When Irving gets on a hot streak he will make his layup over anyone and James will bull through anyone.
Cleveland doesn't have a dominate download physical presence for za za to bang so I think they gain a lil on offense and its a wash on D.

ok I hate to be blunt here but I must.   The whole problem with the Cavs can be summed up in one long word  Kardashians       Tristian has only 11 rebounds in 3 games (Curry has 27)  and he was a rebounding monster before he started to dating Khloe.  Why ruin your career for her.  From Reggie Bush to Kris Humphries to Scott Dysick (although he has made out all right) to Kanye West to brother Rob to Caitlyn the touch of a Kardashian will ruin you life and/or career.   I know many of you would say i would  hit it but be forewarned your life will change for the worse.
