Miss St recruiting ass Rod Gibson arrested for DUI

Arrest occurred on Highway 182 at 1:27 a.m. on Saturday and released on bond (sic). DUI is the first on Gibson's record. No further details regarding the arrest were made available at this time (nor will they be).

Gibson, who was previously the running backs coach at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, was hired as a recruiting assistant in February.

Gibson is also a former MSU running back. He played for the Bulldogs in 1998 and 1999.

Former Mississippi State recruiting coordinator Mark Ouimet was arrested for a DUI in 2011. He resigned shortly after. Ouimet was later found not guilty...
