    This evaluation is based on achievements during the college career solely

    Running Back - Darren McFadden, Arkansas



    SEC running backs have won the Heisman Trophy since 1992 but none have finished in the Top Two twice. 

    Two-time Doak Walker Award winner; the Walter Camp Award; Jim Brown Trophy; Two-Time Consensus All-American; Two-Time SEC Offensive Player of the Year (ahead of a Heisman Trophy winner); and a Three-Time 1st Team All-SEC selection.  His career total of 4,590 rushing yards ranks second all-time in the SEC, behind only Herschel Walker.

    There was no one better at the position than Darren McFadden. NO ONE!

    Runners-up include and are limited to: Mark Ingram, Heisman winner; Derrick Henry, Heisman Winner; Shaun Alexander, Boone County Rebel was '99 SEC Player of the Year and All-American.

    Quarterback - Tim Tebow, Florida


    Tebow is the only college player invited to attend the Heisman Trophy presentation as a finalist three times, winning in 2007.

    Two-time Maxwell Award winner; '08 Manning Award, Davey O'Brien Award; Wuerffel Trophy; 2007 AP and Sporting News Player of the Year; Two-Time SEC Offensive Player of the Year; Two-Time 1st Team All-American; Three-Time 1st Team All-SEC; Two-Time SEC Champ and National Champ.

    Runners-up include and are not limited to: All 1st Picks in NFL draft Peyton Manning, Tim Couch, Eli Manning, Jamarcus Russell, Matthew Stafford, and Heisman winner and former Tebow backup Cam Newton; the only SEC player since '92 who is in the College Football Hall of Fame, '96 Heisman winner Danny Wuerffel; Heisman and Manning Award winner Johnny Manziel; Mawwell Award winner AJ McCarron; Jay Cutler; Dak Prescott; T Martin, Ryan Mallett, Tyler Wilson and Matt Jones.
