I think the worst is Brad Nessler, not only does he suck in real life, he srews up my PS2 NCAA Football 2006, I cant even listen to the fans because I have to listen to him talk during the game, Corso is hilarious though.

Hating? Who was hating? Eels simply is a bad, bad, bad football play-by-play guy. The worst I've ever heard do major college football. Even technically worse than most highschool annoucers.

On the plus side, he has a pleasant voice, is apparently an upstanding citizen of the community and is obviously revered by some of you young guys that have no base for comparison. Had you ever heard Bud Campbell or Bob Cheyne do Razorback football you would recognize the difference...immediately.

I guess. If the only thing you look for in a broadcast is TOUCHDOWN, ARKANSAS! But if you like the correct yard line, down, distance, ball carrier, pass receiver and SCORE given occasionally, Bud Campbell or Bob Cheyne was your man.

Otherwise anybody walking down the street can say TOUCHDOWN, ARKANSAS! As a matter of fact, both Bob Cheyne and Bud Campbell did say it. Often.

The biggest difference might be that now Hog FB games are on TV. In Campbell's day we were on maybe 1 or 2 times per year. If you weren't seeing what was being described you wouldn't know mistakes are being made. I enjoyed Bud and Paul.
