History is repeating itself: Johnson = Pete Burks

It is 1996 and Burks is the QB and a complete and total failure (just like Robert Johnson).  Ford is on his way to a 4-7 season (we may be lucky to win that many this season).   Stoerner, a frosh, gets playing time at the end of the season with little or no success.  Good ole Frank hires Danny a offensive coordernator for 1997 instead of firing him.  Said coordernator is an idiot which leads to another 4-7 season that gets Stoerner much needed seasoning and preparation for Nutt in 1998.

If they keep Nutt and force a coordinator on him for the 2006 season, with a first year QB, will get him fired for sure.  We will have complete the circle.

It makes no sense to keep changing assistant coaches and producing losing seasons.  Replace the whole staff and start over today, why fire Nutt next year and waste a year?
