Someone needs to remind him that they are moving to an outdoor stadium and that there is no comparison between St. Louis cold and Minnesota cold. You can fling a cup of coffee into the air and it will freeze into ice crystals before it hits the ground (no darn when I moved up here the locals made me go do it). So if he wants to show up his moves on ground that is harder than concrete and trying to get highlight film during blizzards, come on up.

Because I live in Little Rock, have been for years and my son may go to UofA.  So, I have an interest in both Mizzou and Arkansas.

Why would the kid list us in his top 3, he's never been here and he didn't grow up wanting to be a Razorback?

Sheldon Richardson mentions us and hasn't changed his mind about taking an official to the UofA as he did with Kansas State, so I'm feeling like we have a real shot with him.

I'm a firm believer in getting them on campus and letting the chips fall where they may.

To me at least it sounded like S.R. will not end up playing in/for the Minnesota Golden Gophers, so that leaves us, Missouri (which he talked down) and Miami.

As I said, I'm feeling better about our chances, just not overly so.

This is what I am thinking as well.  I considered that article very encouraging.  First, he seemed blown away by the support at Minnesota - just wait till he gets into a state where it's nothing but Razorbacks all the time.  Second, he seemed more impressed with Minnesota than Missouri - but still considers Missouri #1.   Thus, he probably wont be going to Minnesota.  If we get him on campus, I believe that our facilities and fan support will blow him away much more so than Minnesota's did.  And, we have the added bonus of being much closer to home.  As long as he visits AR, I like our chances. 

He sounds like a guy that is not happy with his current situation and is just looking for the right thing.  He was impressed by Minnesota - but in the end they weren't the right thing...

Hopefully the basketball crowd at Bud Walton Jan 10th against MSU will help sway him to Arkansas.

01/10/09 Football season will be over and Basketball will be getting 99.999% of the attention.  With Oklahoma (Tue, Dec 30) & Texas (Tue, Jan 06) being our only major opponent leading up to conference play we should easily be sitting at 12-2 at worst heading into that contest that Saturday -vs- MSU.

Erie is right, Water does not freeze in air without a nucleus until -40F (or C as they are the same at -40) That's when Ice fog can be observed instead of fog. That being said, BOILING water can flash freeze in the air a bit before that...as spit is not pure water and impurities will impact the nucleation point. The other thing to take into effect is volume vs rate of cooling all of this is why I MOVED TO FLORIDA in the first place...

Where going to get a visit. I have to give some credit to coach Horton and BP. Getting a prospect to visit of this level was almost unheard in years past. Now we seem to be getting several of these to visit. We got 4 or 5 stud DL considering us. Yogi Berra use to say "it anit over until its over"
