I was wondering if any of you know if they are going to let the HS kids that have left these states play sports in the towns they settle into. I worked at a donation site yesterday and talked to a family that was from a town outside of NO and their son is a Soph. and was going to be the starting QB on the 4A school that he went to. He told me he was going to try out for the Pioneers but that he knew he wouldn't be able to play QB but was going for any position he could get. I was wondering if he is going to be able to try out for the football team and be able to play while he is here.

I know Rivercrest High School has gotten a kid from N.O. he is suppose to be real real good. Linebacker and safety BTW.

The Arkansas Activities Association has said it will work to get evacuees cleared to play ASAP.

Then they will probably be eligible, oh say, about July
