OXFORD - Two days separate Ole Miss from a wild emotional swing against Auburn.

A 23-point rally may have been exhausting both physically and mentally, but the Rebels can't afford to have a letdown with a bad LSU team coming to Oxford.

Good teams take care of business against teams they're supposed to beat at home. And if Ole Miss has postseason aspirations, it can't slip up against the Tigers (9-15, 1-11 SEC), who sit in last place of the SEC standings.

Terence Davis didn't start against Auburn because Andy Kennedy tried to keep the sophomore guard and dynamic scorer out of foul trouble.

Davis came off the bench, picked up two fouls in four minutes and didn't score in the first half.

"Obviously, it didn't work," Kennedy said.
