Florida is still looking to pick up one more win to become eligible for a bowl game. It will pursue one more win without a pair of linebackers.

Senior Neiron Ball and sophomore Jarrad Davis will miss the rest of the season due to injuries. Ball will undergo microfracture surgery after being injured on the opening kickoff Saturday against South Carolina. Davis tore a meniscus in the same game, adding salt on the wounds that came with letting one slip away against the Gamecocks.

Florida will host Eastern Kentucky this week, before traveling to play Florida State...

Auburn's leading receiver may miss his second straight game with a sprained MCL in his right knee.

D'haquille Williams has not returned to practice yet.

And the Tigers will likely make sure he's fully healthy before bringing him back to the field, according to Auburn coach Gus Malzahn.

"He's not been back on the field yet," Malzahn said. "It's week to week. We hope to get him back, but I'm not ready to say when yet."

Center Elliott Porter is "doubtful" for the game at Texas A&M with an ankle injury suffered against Arkansas. Les Miles says LG Vadal Alexander is "likely" to play.

That leaves LSU's offensive line with Ethan Pocic, the starter at right guard, at center, and Evan Washington or Hoko Fanaika at right guard. As you remember, Washington replaced Alexander at left guard against Arkansas and Fanaika at right guard for Pocic (after Porter was hurt), but I wouldn't be surprised to see Washington start in place of Fanaika at right guard.

Georgia senior walk-on WR Michael Erdman will miss rest of the season due to a dislocated left wrist. He has 1 catch for 4 yards this year.

Saturday will be the final home game for 20 MSU seniors.

18 of those seniors are listed on the two-deep depth chart. OL Damien Robinson and LB Ferlando Bohanna are both out for the year w/ injury.

Ahead of its bye in Week 13, head coach Kevin Sumlin said that a pair of starting defensive linemen — end Myles Garrett and tackle Ivan Robinson — are listed as probable for the Thanksgiving Day game against LSU. Both Garrett and Robinson did not play in last weekend's loss to Missouri due to unspecified injuries.

Additionally, linebacker Otaro Alaka, injured during the Mizzou game, is listed as probable as well.

All three are starters, although the return of Garrett should provide the biggest boost for an Aggies defense that's at or near the bottom of the SEC in nearly every major statistical category...

Gus Malzahn announced Tuesday defensive end DaVonte Lambert will miss the Iron Bowl and Auburn's bowl game after undergoing season-ending surgery on his left knee on Monday.

"That's a big blow for us," Malzahn said...

Lambert led the defense with 3.5 sacks this season.

In what was essentially a glorified scrimmage last Saturday, tight end Brian Vogler and receiver ArDarius Stewart sustained what head coach Nick Saban described as stretched knee ligaments in the romp over FCS-level Western Carolina. Neither player has practiced this week, leading Saban to call the duo "very questionable" for Saturday evening's game against Auburn.

Because neither has practiced, it would seem highly doubtful either will be available.

Exiting a wild, long and exhausting Iron Bowl, Alabama left in relative good shape.

The only real concern from the game involves starting left tackle Cam Robinson. Already dealing with a sprained ankle, the true freshman left the game with a shoulder injury. Nick Saban said he sprained the shoulder on the 11-yard Blake Sims touchdown that gave Alabama the final lead in the 55-44 win.

Robinson would be "day-to-day" moving into the SEC Championship Game preparations...

Florida DL Bryan Cox, Jr.. will not play in the Jan. 3 Birmingham Bowl due to an injury.

Cox underwent surgery on Monday to repair a hip problem, Gators interim coach D.J. Durkin said.

"Bryan Cox had surgery and will be out for the bowl," Durkin said. "It's a hip injury, something that was deteriorating over time that he needed to have done."

Hunt is a senior, so college career is essentially over.

It hasn't been a good two weeks for Florida freshman football player J.C. Jackson when hanging out with friends.

Jackson, a cornerback who has been sidelined following shoulder surgery in September, was grazed by a bullet during a shooting in his hometown of Immokalee on Christmas Eve, CBS television affiliate WINK in Fort Myers reported Thursday....
