I can't get a good read on Smith. Is he the next Portis? Or is he the next Vincent Hunter/Michael Jones? Or maybe somewhere in between.

I think he is better than Hunter/Jones but not at the Portis level.  He may get to the Portis level around his soph/jr year.

I know Jones and Hunter didn't pan out like we had all hoped they would, but I'll give Jones a pass, cause he was a project when Nolan signed him and I don't think Heath really liked him and Jones didn't fit Heath's style of play
