There is an article in today's Arkansas Democrat Gazette that lists his height at 6'9. Surely, that is a misprint.

steveaustin69

It was a misprint. He's actually grown to around 6'11" and was practicing with the basketball team before spring practice started.

Correct. Mike Anderson has talked to him about spending time with the basketball team if he loses the starting QB position
That's right, you don't want to be the man to replace the man.  You want to be the man to replace Rory Segrest.

I'm 7'1" and he's several inches taller.

Porkys Revenge

I read today where Cole said he's ready to go to war for CCM. At 6'9 he could be sniper and not require an elevated platform to shoot from.

Seriously?

Yeah. Can't you tell how well he'd be able to run the floor with his pure athleticism and elite speed and agility?! And boy, let me tell you what, the arm accuracy transfers into a no-limits sniper from behind the arc. Think Klay Thompson, but Cajun and with a little more street cred.

Karma

He's 6'5", 6'9" with the afro.

That's accurate.  But quarterbacks usually struggle at that height and he's a little chubby, so CCM put him on a weight loss and height loss plan.

This just shows you that I can't trust anything in MMQB during the off season.  That's why I took it over to jump ball.  Not that I can trust anything over there either.

My personal height estimation philosophy is look at official team roster and subtract 1 inch.

I think it's awesome you have a 'personal height estimation philosophy' ....good stuff right there. By any chance do you have a 'Razorback gameday concessions philosophy' you would like to share?

Sorry but Cole K is just not the answer. Big slow and clumsy! which is fine if you have a rocket arm W/accuracy. If he is starter then we will struggle in my humble opinion

c'mon Texhog...give ol Cole Haan a chance - this isn't the old Cole- those were the days when he was running around w CBB. Things have changed on the hill, if you haven't been informed. Cole will be 40# slimmer w/ a 40 time at least .3 faster than before. His release is quick, his passion is over the top -

Who knows what happens / who starts - but one thing for sure Cole will show up looking different this fall than he did last fall. For all I know the guy ends up at TE - but he won't be a fat arse.

The heights and weights are not usually updated until fall practice begins because a lot of those will change between now and then.

Valid source.

His TD run against Ole Miss last year didn't look very slow and clumsy for a guy his size. Neither does averaging 19 and 10 in basketball games in high school. Don't think you can be slow and clumsy and have bad footwork and be a stud athlete.

My how things have changed.
In 1962 I tried to walk on at Arkansas.
Was a 6'3" 242 lb LB/RB.  Frank said I was to big to play LB or RB.
Said my only hope was to try and become an OL.
My football was over.
