First time ever to tailgate with my own stuff, I showed up at 5:30 to get in line.  people in front and behind me were fun, polite (course that was before everyone started drinking).  As we entered the gates, they were allowing traffic to come in from the other way, which separated people in line, lots of PO people!

Soon as I pulled in, the "kids" in front of me (hood side of truck), were already doing drinking games, which is fine so long as they didn't bother me, I had no issues.  the guys beside me and across from me were cool....up until 11ish.  that's when things started getting really rowdy.  EVERYONE around me was smashed by 12.  I constantly had to keep the kids off the hood of my car because they kept wanting to lean and pass out on them.  By game time, nearly everyone around me was either passed out in their truck beds, inside their trucks, or just stumbling to get to a chair or something.  It was a crazy site to see.  Nobody around me had any interest in the game.

At any rate, I won't be tailgating in LR again.  But on the plus side, during the concert I walked a couple of greens a found 2 camo chairs, $100 nike sunglasses, 20 qt pot, 20 foot extension cord, and a USB charger.

But you made out like a bandit my friend.
If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.

LR games are the worst.  I actually enjoy them being so close to my house (in Benton), but I've never been and NOT seen a fight, people getting arrested, people passed out, etc.  It's not a very friendly family atmosphere.  No thanks...

It was a lot nicer back in the 1980's!!!!

Quote from: GA reddiehog on April 16, 2024, 07:44:38 pmPitching over hyped and hitting nonexistent is going to make for several loses here on out. Maybe it will not be as bad as the BB team. Lack of hitting has been a problem for many moons.
