I'm going to build a table for my BGE, but I'm not sure what type of wood I should use.  What will hold up best outdoors?  Any suggestions?  Thanks

If I had it to do over, I'd build a table so the egg will be in the center so you would have plenty of workspace on either side.

agreed...  If you build one yourself make sure you add some of those slide out storage boxes and lots of hooks for scrapers, tongs, etc...   and the hot pad and the bottle opener!

Someday I'll build me another one the way I really really want it, but this will do me for now...  I need to do some work on it but it'll be ok...

Cypress is the Outdoor wood of the South.   Just make sure you use thicker boards than you would with Pine or any other wood.  I like to use 3/4 to 1 inch thick stock when using Cypress.
If the South should lose, it means that the history of the heroic struggle will be written by the enemy, that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers, will be impressed by all of the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision.
