Good news is that Way is around 110 pitches and we're just now getting to the top of the 7th and only down 1 run.

C'mon dammit, swing those effing bats with some authority!

Spoke too soon.

Ain't scored yet.  Don't let go of the rope.

If you're scared, get a dog.

Publius

Is it just me...or does anyone else feel like we are down by more than 2 runs?

Damn.  Come on Hogs, if you lose this game your season might as well be over.

Once again...spoke too soon.

Todd Butler is the suck.  Go ahead, defend him.  Let me guess "he's not the one swinging the bats"  or "he can only work with the talent he has".  He is supposed to be a great recruiter - so if it's a lack of talent that's on him.  We are the worst hitting team in the tournament.  We strike out more than Otis Kirk at a straight bar.

How does a college base ball player drop a fly ball? I know I am usually the eternal optimist but c'mon.

I like that...lightened the mood a bit...whatever happens, happens...if you can't hit, you don't deserve to win

Bolsinger up in the pen

Finally- should've already been in.  You don't play around and wait and see what happens in the regional.  Should have been up and ready after the triple.

Me also...but as I was posting, WSU scored.

that really is a good question... its just you and the ball!  no one else is there to interfere with you ... it would be like a college golfer whiffing on a tee shot.

I wouldnt throw Bolsinger when we are behind.  its too risky

More like missing an 18 inch putt.

What would you save him for?  So we can use him in a loser's bracket game?

oh I trust him too.  But we're going to need him the rest of the weekend.  I wouldnt throw him when behind.  only when tied or ahead

Mike Bolsinger should only pitch when we are tied or ahead.  we cant risk losing him for the weekend in a game we lose

exactly, it should be routine... especially this late in the season.  I honestly think we have lost all basic fundamentals and it is killing us.  these are mistakes you should make the first 2 or 3 games of the season.  not in the DAMN regionals!

Man, this team does not have the offense to come out of the loser's bracket on the road.  If WSU scores again, this one is over and the Hog's are two and done or maybe 1-2 and done.

I couldn't agree more.  Is the wind howling in Norman today to disrupt a fly ball?

The wind howls in Norman everyday...but not enough to excuse that.  It certainly isn't bothering Wash. St. any.

olivebranchhog

Holy Hell I can't believe he held onto that. When your body is turning like that, it almost forces the ball out of the glove. Great play
