Big Nasty 34

I think it's interesting that Houston picked Bregman with their first pick especially with correa as their supposed future.

2B...

Won't put Bregman at third as a contact hitter.

AirForceHog

SS is a premium right now.
If it turns, burns, banks or rolls, crew chiefs made it happen.

The Texas Rangers pick
4. Dillon Tate, RHP, UC-Santa Barbara

Houston will have its second selection in the top 5 next

JHicks3636

Brother of Astro player Brock Tucker

Minnesota is set to pick next

flippinhogmana

most projections have somewhere about 16-17 high school players first round.  Of the rest, five are projected from the SEC, most of them high in the first.
Like the erstwhile Clark Kent, my true identity is shielded.  I am an author, Nathan J. Allison is my pen name.

Benintendi is either playing for a Sox, playing in Chicago or both.

I'd do the same. LaRussa's a nutjob and would probably throw at his head.

ETA: Empty bottle, obviously.

JHicks3636

The Boston Red Sox choose
7. Andrew Benintendi, OF, Arkansas
Boston's only pick tonight

The Chicago White Sox are on the clock

On a scale of "DGB is a Hog" to "Bobby had a girl on the back of that bike," how sure are you?

Really deep, so for him to even mention it shows how much respect Jackson has. Not that we didn't already know that, though.

Boston does a good job of developing players.
They have a good organization with a good minor league system.
He really ended up in a great spot.
